The dentist is gentle, knowledgeable, and always explains each adjustment clearly

I’ve been coming to this dental clinic for my monthly check-ups, and I’m really happy with the care I’ve received especially throughout my braces journey. From the very beginning, the team has been supportive, professional, and always attentive to my needs. The dentist is gentle, knowledgeable, and always explains each adjustment clearly, making sure I understand how my treatment is progressing. I’ve seen real improvements in my teeth alignment, and it’s exciting to watch the changes month by month. They take time to track every detail and make sure everything is on the right path. The clinic itself is always clean, welcoming, and well-equipped. The staff are friendly and make each visit feel comfortable and smooth. I truly feel like I’m in good hands here.

What are Braces?

Braces are small brackets bonded to your teeth and joined by a thin wire. Small, regular adjustments to that wire gently guide your teeth into a straighter, better-fitting position.

Dr. Lee focuses on orthodontics for children and adults, and plans each case in detail before anything is fitted. For younger patients, Dr. Lim looks at how the jaw and teeth are developing, since some problems are easier to guide early.

At your first visit we check your teeth and bite, explain what braces can realistically achieve for you, and talk through whether metal or ceramic suits you better.

How it works

Your treatment, step by step.

1

Consultation

We look closely at your teeth, bite and jaw, and talk about what you'd like to change.

2

Planning

Your treatment is planned in detail, including the expected timeline, before anything is fitted.

3

Fitting and adjustments

Brackets and wire are fitted, then adjusted at regular visits as your teeth move.

4

Retainer

When the braces come off, a retainer keeps your teeth in their new position.

Could Braces Be Right for You?

Braces suit children, teenagers and adults. The right timing depends on your teeth and bite, so we'll check before recommending anything.

We'll be upfront about what's realistic for your teeth, and whether braces or another option makes more sense.

Your teeth are crowded, overlapping or have gaps.

Your top and bottom teeth don't meet comfortably.

Your child's adult teeth are coming in crooked.

You want a fixed option that works for more complex cases.

Handles complex cases

Fixed braces can correct more significant crowding, gaps and bite problems than removable aligners.

For children and adults

From growing children to adults, braces work at any age, with timing planned around your teeth.

Metal or ceramic

Choose classic metal brackets or tooth-coloured ceramic ones that are less noticeable.

Frequently asked questions.

The questions patients ask us most about Braces, answered plainly.

Often between one and two and a half years, depending on how much your teeth need to move. We'll give you an estimate for your own case at the consultation.

Most people feel some pressure or soreness for a few days after fitting and after each adjustment. It usually settles quickly, and we'll tell you what helps.

Both work the same way. Ceramic brackets are tooth-coloured and less noticeable; metal brackets are more robust and usually more affordable. We'll help you weigh it up.

Around age 7 is a good time for a first check. Dr. Lim can spot developing bite or jaw issues early, even if braces aren't needed yet.

Yes. Teeth naturally try to drift back, so wearing your retainer as advised is what keeps the result.
